FACET _ GINKGO BIOWORKS
Ginkgo Bioworks is headquartered in the Innovation and Design Building in South Boston. They combine engineering and biology with a focus on developing custom microbes for their clients. Ginkgo Bioworks commissioned Jaywalk to design and fabricate a table base for their new lobby space. The table design is unique in that the top is a recycled part from an old robot that Ginkgo used to use in their labs. We designed a stable, complimentary base to exist harmoniously with the provided top.
